Since all our things are in boxes and everything is up in the air, I put together a list of things we can do to celebrate Independence Day that don't require a lot of prep or materials. Check it out!

If you have ever read any of my gift guide posts, you will know that I have a soft spot for sarcastic and humorous t-shirts. I recently came across Starlight Baby, an online shop for baby onesies and pacifier clips. I was given the opportunity to test out one of their onesies on Hailey and with their cute designs, I couldn't resist.
Summer is here! If you were used to having the kids in school during the year, you may be looking at the prospect of losing what little free time you had. And by free time, I mean time to run errands and tidy up the house and pay bills, etc.. Here are some things you can do to make sure you get some time to accomplish your household tasks while still having a fun summer.
It's that time of year where everyone is graduating. There's preschool graduations, kindergarten graduations, middle school, high school, and college. Some are more meaningful than others, but all are important for the person doing the graduating. Here are some perfect gifts for kids graduating preschool.
Today is Hailey's first birthday!! I can't believe that my baby girl is already a year old. It is so true that the days are long but the years are short. We are currently weaning baby girl from breastfeeding and while I am super relieved, I am also so sad that our special time is ending. But on to happier things!!
Are you a hot mess mama? Do you know someone who is? With Mother's Day coming up, I put together a list of gifts perfect for hot mess mamas. They help with two major contributors for mamas feeling overwhelmed: disorganization and lack of inspiration. Check out following list if you or someone you know could use a little of both.
So today is my birthday!!! On April 11 of 2016 I turned 31 and around that time I created a post about the things I’d like to do before my next birthday. This list consisted of a wide range of goals including trips with the family, school goals, and friends goals. You can find that post here. Back in July, I posted my first update at a quarter of the way through the year and in October I posted my progress at the halfway point. January marked the 3 quarters point. Now here we are a full year later.
The New York Baby Show is coming up in May and I am super excited! It is the biggest show for new and expectant parents in the country. Last year I was able to snag free tickets, however, Hailey was born just over a week before the show and we just couldn't get it together to go. This year, nothing is standing in our way!! Check what we are getting excited about and then learn how you can win some free tickets for yourself!!
Guys, my birthday is just 2 weeks away! I'm excited! Is that weird? Am I too old to be excited about birthdays? Eh, oh well. My husband tells me that I am the worst person to shop for. He thinks my picks are far too practical and often ends up opting for things that don't really get much use. The thing is I hate clutter and I value presents that make my life easier/better. So I put together my busy mom birthday wishlist for everyone to see. Hopefully, he'll read this post too (wink, wink)!!
This guide walks you through some of the major areas of spring cleaning the busy mom way. It has been spring for a few days now, so its officially time to start opening the doors and windows and cleaning house. But if you are like me, you don't suddenly have tons of time to devote to cleaning. This post will break down how to get that deep down clean feeling in your flooring, windows, and curtains with simple steps and in less time!
Getting your kids to bed is hard. They don't want to go to bed yet, they want these pjs not those, they need 10 bedtime stories, now they need water.... Getting the kids finally settled can be exhausting especially when you are already exhausted. I'm usually on my own for bedtime since my husband mostly works nights. Because of this, I have developed a process that gets both kids to sleep without fuss 6 out of 7 days a week.
As busy moms, we put pressure on ourselves to do it all. There is so much on our plate and not enough time to do it in. We have jobs to do, kids to nurture, husbands to support, houses to clean, not to mention meeting our own needs. Having the kids around constantly can make some of these tasks near impossible. The problem is, often times we don't have people we trust or the resources to pay for someone to watch our kids. I recently came across a new app that solves this problem in a really smart way. Komae to the rescue!
Due to my crazy schedule/life, I generally write my blog posts the day before they are published. I have long wanted to have a collection of blog posts at the ready for when life happens, but of course life keeps happening, so it hasn't happened. So when a snow day occurred on my usual writing day, my whole schedule got shot in the foot. In a good way. Like I got to spend quality time with the family.
