Are you in a reflective mode as we head out of 2017 and head into 2018? I know I am.
2017 was a big year for The Multitasking Mom. We had close to 100 articles posted, we grew the email list, we reached over 500 followers on Facebook and over 1400 on Instagram. We opened up our Etsy shop with lots of useful printables and I wrote my first book which will be released in January.
Since so much great and useful content was created this year and many of you who joined us later in the year might not have seen it, I thought I'd do a round up of the most popular posts that were created in 2017.
These posts run the gamut from parenting, to organization, to time management and product reviews. If you've seen them before, a refresher doesn't hurt and if you haven't seen them, check out what your fellow moms were loving this year!
Apparently everyone loves a review, because this was the most popular post of 2017. Check out my thoughts on the Mixtiles product and how the pictures of my kiddos came out. I love how easy these are to order and hang. See the full details in the post.
Everyone's morning routine is different. What you need to do in the morning can be totally different from what I need to do. But the things we should definitely not do are the same. Check out this post on things not to include in your morning routine in order to ensure smooth mornings.
This post is all about how we get the kids to go to bed and stay in bed. I talk about how we transition from playtime to bed time, how we give cues that it's time to start winding down, and how we deal with anxiety about being alone in the bedroom.
This post is all about quick tips to clean up your bedroom and make it a relaxing place to go to when you need to get away. These tips only take a few minutes each, but can really make a difference in how you feel when you enter the room.
This post is so so important for moms. We tend to run around trying to do everything and end up doing a lot of things that don't actually accomplish our goals or make a difference in the long run. This post talks about slowing down and doing the right things because we simply can't do it all.
I am all about saving time on the menial tasks of household management so I can make more time for the things that are actually important to me. Check out this post with lots of tips for speeding up the cleaning process and still get great results.
This post is all about creating a home management binder to keep all of the important family information in one place. I walk you through how I break down my own binder to include all of the important information. You get all the info to create your own, or you can get my ready made binder from the shop and just fill in the blanks!
Spring may mean cleaning out the whole house, but it doesn't mean we have any extra time to do it. In fact, the spring is when our schedules usually pick up. This post walks you through cleaning a few areas of the house and links to a guide which provides tips for cleaning the whole house.
This post walks you through how I use one basket to control all of the paper entering the house. That means no more papers on every surface, no more mail that never gets opened, always knowing where those important papers are. This is a must read if paper is taking over your home.
So in the earlier post, I talked about what not to include in your morning routine. On the other hand, this post talks about what you should take into consideration when you do create your morning routine. Every family is different but there are certain things to consider to create a routine that works for your whole family.
I hope you take a little time to check out these posts. They are chock full of useful info for busy moms. As a bonus, there are a few posts from 2016 that have also been extremely popular this year, so if you want to check those out, go here:
